I am trained in both traditional and holistic, somatic, and energy medicine models of psychotherapy.  I strive to integrate both to guide you and connect you with your own inner strength and divine wisdom.  We will work collaboratively to assess how to best support you and create a holistic "program" of coping tools and self-nourishment.  I work best with people who have been on a healing path already and know the power of taking responsibility for their own healing and wellness. I am not here to “fix” or “cure” you, but rather provide you with the tools to do your own healing, so you can feel in charge of your progress and development. 


 
 

Somatic Therapy Sessions

How do we heal? I find that healing comes with deep listening and presence; deeply listening to our bodies and souls, we can create the life we crave and move out of our stuck places. Especially during times of hardship and dis-ease, we need extra nourishment and support to pull through and find islands of safety to let ourselves be and recharge. Connecting to our higher guidance, we will find that clarity and grounding to step into wellness again. I draw heavily from Somatic Experiencing, a psycho-biologically based trauma + PTSD prevention and healing practice (by Dr. Peter Levine).


Mindful Stress Reduction 

During this session I will educate you on some very helpful mindfulness and somatic relaxation techniques and also lead you through a guided meditation and/or somatic exercises. Together we will gather some new tools and routines that you can use daily to access your inner health and well being.  Mindfulness has shown to be very beneficial for a variety of health and stress-related concerns and is even offered by many hospitals as an adjunct treatment.


Conscious Parenting and Support

These Sessions can fit easily into your schedule through online or phone consulting. As a busy mom myself I know how hard it is to make time these days. I know that I would rather avoid looking at my own issues and wounds sometimes. I know that it's so unbearably hard sometimes, especially when we try to do it alone. And most of all,  I  know that " The greatest gift we can give our children and ourselves  is to do our own healing." Together we will explore conscious, compassionate, and brain-based parenting and healing tools to nourish you and your family from the inside-out.  I am passionate about finding holistic ways to help ourselves and our kids grow.

I wish for you to feel more at ease and connected again in your parenting.  With so much information about different parenting paradigms it's tough to stay grounded and not get overwhelmed.  Get the support to be the parent you envision yourself to be.
